LAST DATE FOR PAYMENT OF TUITION FEES
Note:
- Students should remit the fees within the due dates noted against each and no separate Communication will be send individually. They are informed that their names will be removed from the rolls if the tuition fees are not paid within the dates.
- Students are informed that their examination application forms will be registered only if they have remitted the tuition fees in full within the prescribed time.
- The lessons for 2nd 3 rd year will be send to the students only after the receipt of the respective instilment of tuition fee within the dates mentioned above.
- Those who have discontinued the programme but want to continues the same programme later must pay the readmission fee of Rs. 250/- and late fee of Rs. 250/- in the form of demand draft.
- Those who fail to remit the tuition fees on or before the last date will have to pay a fine of Rs 10/- per day Maximum Rs .250/-.
- Fees once paid shall neither be refunded nor adjusted under any circumstances.
- The candidates are advised not to pay fees in the form of CASH to the study centre under any circumstances.
APPLICATION FORM
- In person from the PRIDE or its study canters on payment of Application fee of Rs.300/- by demand draft drawn from any nationalized bank payable at Salem in favour of "The director, periyar institute of distance education"
- By downloading from the website:www.rainseducation.com and Rs 300/- towards the cast of application form paying along with the Admission and I instalment fee mentioned in the fee structure
- The application for admission should be in the prescribed form issued by PRIDE or its study canters and it is not transferable, The last date for receipt of filled in application form at PRIDE is as per the Notification.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING IN THE APPLICATION FORM
- Read carefully and thoroughly the application form and the prospectus before filling-in the application.
- Check your eligibility (i.e.Qualication) for the course for which you are applying.
- All the entries in the application form should be made only in CAPITAL LETTERS
- while filling in the application form, enter the course code correctly and write the name of the course clearly and optional subjects, if any
- A recent passport size photograph should be pasted on the application form in the space provided for it, signed by the applicant and attested by a Gazetted officer. Two passport size photographs are to be enclosed.
- Attestation
The photograph in the application may be attested by any one of the following officials:
(a) Gazetted officer
(b) Members of the Syndicate, Senate, Standing Committee on Academic affairs and board of Studies of the Periyar University.
(c) principals, professors, readers and lecturers of colleges and Universities.
(d) Headmasters or headmistress of government school and higher secondary or high schools recognized by the government.
(e) Commissioned officers of the defence services. - If the certificates submitted by the applicant are in any language other than English/ Tamil, an English version of the certificates should accompany them and an officer should certify the same listed in 6 (vi) knowing that language.
- An application will be summarily rejected if there is any discrepancy between the material particulars as they are found in the applicant form and in the supporting documents. The name of the applicant, his date of birth and qualification will be considered as material particulars in this context.
- The name of the candidate should se same as 10th or+ 2 certificate.
Checklist of important points
Before you mail application please check the following:
- All items of information in the application are provided.
- Self acknowledged card affixed with Rs. 6/- postal stamp.
- Five copies of recent, identical of photographs (passport size 5cm x 7cm) have been enclosed.
- Enclosed attested Xerox copies of all required certificates.
- DD-1 – The I installment fees with one time admission fees in the form demand draft in favour of the director, periyar institute of distance education, PRIDE, payable at salem. DD-2- In favour of the Co- ordinator Rins Education Charities Trust, payable at Erode. Study centre fee.
- Address slips have been correctly filled and enclosed.
- Sufficient postage stamps have been affixed on the envelope.
